Old Whitgiftian Neil Gaiman wins (very) prestigious award.

In an event of startling relevance to previous posts, old boy Neil Gaiman (incidentally, one of my favourite writers), has won America’s most prestigious children’s literature award for The Graveyard Book. I very much like his adult fiction, and have also enjoyed the stuff he writes for children. There’s a short piece over at the The Gaurdian if you’re interested, and his own amusing reaction on his blog, if you like that sort of thing.

I’d highly recommend checking him out. Be aware, however, that his take on reality may not be exactly the same as other authors that you have read…
